21 All who heard him were amazed and said, “Is not this he who killed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and came here with that intent, to bring them bound to the chief priests?”

I have become a marvel to many, for You are my strong refuge.


Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of Hosts who dwells in Mount Zion.


“Hear this, O Joshua the high priest, you and your friends sitting before you, for these men are a sign: Behold, I will bring My servant, the Branch.


Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, nor is there any divination against Israel. For this time it will be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘See what God has done!’


They were all amazed and perplexed, saying to each other, “What does this mean?”


When this sound occurred, the crowd came together and were confounded, because each man heard them speaking in his own language.


They knew that it was he who sat for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what happened to him.


When they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were untrained and uneducated men, they marveled. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.


They stoned Stephen as he was calling on God, praying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”


But Saul ravaged the church, entering house by house and dragging out both men and women and committing them to prison.


Yet Saul increased all the more with power and confounded the Jews living in Damascus, proving that this One is the Christ.


when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be marveled at by all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.


Consider how much love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
