The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.


And I will pour out on the house of David and over those dwelling in Jerusalem a spirit of favor and supplication so that they look to Me, whom they have pierced through. And they will mourn over him as one mourns for an only child and weep bitterly over him as a firstborn.


Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”


He told us how he had seen an angel in his house, who stood and said to him, ‘Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon whose name is Peter.


Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul.


And whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’


Paul said, “I am a Jew, from Tarsus of Cilicia, a citizen of no common city. I beg of you, permit me to speak to the people.”


“I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city. At the feet of Gamaliel I was trained in the strict tradition of the law of the fathers, being zealous toward God as you all are today.


Therefore repent of your wickedness, and ask God if perhaps the intention of your heart may be forgiven you.


Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Rise up and go toward the south on the way that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert.


When the brothers learned this, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him off to Tarsus.


But if from there you will seek the Lord your God, you will find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
