34 I have indeed seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt. I have heard their groaning, and I have come down to deliver them. Now come, I will send you to Egypt.’

Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another’s speech.”


I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has come to Me. If not, I will know.”


“When You saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt and heard their cry by the Red Sea,


He sent Moses, His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.


Nevertheless, He regarded their affliction when He heard their cry.


Bow your heavens, O  Lord, and come down; touch the mountains, that they may smoke.


And God said to Moses, “I am who I am,” and He said, “You will say this to the Israelites, ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ”


And the people believed. And when they heard that the Lord had visited the Israelites and that He had looked on their affliction, they bowed down and worshipped.


Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might shake at Your presence,


By a prophet the Lord brought Israel up from Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved.


For I have brought you up from the land of Egypt, and from the house of slaves I have redeemed you; and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.


And I will come down, and I will speak with you there, and I will take of the Spirit which is on you and will put it on them, and they will bear the burden of the people with you, and you will not bear it by yourself.


No one has ascended to heaven except He who descended from heaven, even the Son of Man who is in heaven.


For I came down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.


When the Lord raised up judges for them, the Lord was with the judge and delivered them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge, for their groaning before their oppressors and tormentors grieved the Lord.
