So Abram said to Lot, “Let there be no strife, I ask you, between me and you, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are close relatives.


So he sent his brothers away, and they departed. He said to them, “Do not quarrel on the way.”


Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!


A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city, and disputes are like the bars of a castle.


Then Jesus commanded His disciples to get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.


He supposed that his brothers would understand that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand.


If there is any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any compassion and mercy,


Let nothing be done out of strife or conceit, but in humility let each esteem the other better than himself.
