4 While it remained unsold, was it not your own? And when it was sold, was it not under your authority? Why have you conceived this deed in your heart? You did not lie to men, but to God.”

Why then, is it that you have proposed and purposed in your heart to do this thing? I know, my God, that You test the heart, and with uprightness You are pleased, so in the uprightness of my heart I have offered freely all these things, and now I have seen Your people, those present here, offer freely and joyously to You.


Moreover, in my devotion to the house of my God I have offered from my own property, gold and silver, which I give for the house of my God, over and above that which I prepared for the holy dwelling place:


of gold for the things of gold and of silver for the things of silver, even for all the handiwork of the craftsmen. Now, who is willing to consecrate himself today to the Lord?”


Then the people rejoiced because they had offered willingly, for with a whole heart they had offered freely to the Lord; and King David also rejoiced greatly.


They conceive mischief, and give birth to futility; their womb prepares deceit.”


Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O  Lord, You know it altogether.


Behold, the wicked man writhes in pain of iniquity; he has conceived mischief and brought forth falsehood.


Then Moses said, “This will happen when the Lord gives you meat to eat in the evening and bread in the morning to satisfy, for the Lord hears your murmurings which you murmur against Him. And what are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against the Lord.”


The Israelites brought a willing offering to the Lord, every man and woman whose heart was willing to bring material for all the work which the Lord had commanded through Moses to be made.


Better it is that you not make a vow, than make a vow and not fulfill it.


No one calls for justice, nor does anyone plead for truth. They trust in vanity and speak lies; they conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity.


Thus says the Lord God: It shall come to pass on that day that things shall come into your mind and you shall think an evil thought,


Therefore both you and all your company are gathered together against the Lord, and who is Aaron that you murmur against him?”


“He who listens to you listens to Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.”


Then Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to deceive the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds of the land?


Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”


But food does not commend us to God. Neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse.


Therefore he that despises does not despise man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.


But without your consent I would do nothing, so that your goodness would not be forced, but given willingly.


Then, when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin; and when sin is finished, it brings forth death.


The Lord said to Samuel, “Obey the voice of the people in relation to all that they say to you. For it is not you they have rejected, but Me they have rejected from reigning over them.
