Jesus said to him, “If you would be complete, go and sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. And come, follow Me.”


Then Jesus, looking upon him, loved him and said to him, “You lack one thing: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. And come, take up the cross and follow Me.”


Sell your possessions and give alms. Provide yourselves bags that do not grow old, an unfailing treasure in the heavens, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.


I say to you, make friends for yourself by means of unrighteous wealth, so that when you fall short, they may receive you into eternal dwellings.


Then He said to them, “When I sent you without bag or pouch or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.”


They sold their property and goods and distributed them to all, according to their need.

so that you may walk honestly toward those who are outsiders and that you may lack nothing.


and laying up in store for themselves a good foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of eternal life.


Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
