At that time Jesus said, “I thank You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to infants.


Then when he went out onto the porch, another girl saw him and said to those who were there, “This man was also with Jesus of Nazareth.”


After a while those who stood by came to Peter and said, “Surely you also are one of them, for your accent betrays you.”


He sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us to eat it.”


When Jesus saw His mother and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold, your son!”


The Jews marveled, saying, “How has this Man become educated, having never been taught?”


Not at all. This crowd who does not know the law is accursed.”


But seeing the man who was healed standing with them, they had nothing to say against it.


But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge.


Now, Lord, look on their threats and grant that Your servants may speak Your word with great boldness,


When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.


But Barnabas took him, and led him to the apostles, and declared to them how on the road he had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken to him, and how he had boldly preached in Damascus in the name of Jesus.


So he stayed with them while coming in and going out of Jerusalem.


But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.


Thus the secrets of his heart are revealed. And so falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you.


Seeing then that we have such hope, we speak with great boldness,
