The crowds said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”


Nevertheless I must travel today and tomorrow and the day following. For it cannot be that a prophet should perish outside Jerusalem.


He said to them, “What things?” They said to Him, “Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet, powerful in deed and word before God and all the people,


For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.


I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not remain in darkness.


“Truly, truly I say to you, whoever hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has eternal life and shall not come into condemnation, but has passed from death into life.


Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.”


“This is the Moses who said to the Israelites, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear.’


For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,


to whom belong the patriarchs, and from whom, according to the flesh, is Christ, who is over all, God forever blessed. Amen.


But when the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son, born from a woman, born under the law,


Therefore we should be more attentive to what we have heard, lest we drift away.


and being made complete, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him,


The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show to His servants things which must soon take place. He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,
