And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent word to all the surrounding country and brought to Him all who were sick,


They were all amazed and said among themselves, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”


And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while everyone marveled at all the things Jesus did, He said to His disciples,


For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things that He Himself does. And He will show Him greater works than these so that you may marvel.


Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned. But it happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.


The neighbors and those who had previously seen that he was blind said, “Is this not he who sat and begged?”


They were all amazed and perplexed, saying to each other, “What does this mean?”


They were all amazed and marveled, saying to each other, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans?


A man lame from birth was being carried, whom people placed daily at the Beautiful Gate of the temple to ask alms from those who entered the temple.
