13 Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

These three broke through the Philistine camp, drew water from the well of Bethlehem by the gate, and carried it back to David. However, he was not willing to drink it but poured out the water to the Lord.


What do you mean that you beat My people to pieces and grind the faces of the poor? says the Lord God of Hosts.


The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord after Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him bound in chains among all who were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah who were being carried away captive to Babylon.


What do you mean in using this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying: “The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge”?


The captain came to him and said, “What are you doing asleep? Get up, call to your god! Perhaps your god will consider us, so that we will not perish.”


But none of these things deter me. Nor do I count my life of value to myself, so that I may joyfully finish my course and the ministry which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.


They all wept much and embraced Paul’s neck and kissed him,

I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.


Yes, and even if I am offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I take delight and rejoice with you all.


For he longed after you all and was filled with heaviness, because you heard that he was sick.


Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake and fill up in my flesh that which is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church.


greatly desiring to see you, remembering your tears, that I may be filled with joy,


For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come.

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.


Because you have kept My word of patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation which shall come upon the entire world, to test those who dwell on the earth.


Then said Elkanah her husband to her, “Hannah, why are you weeping? And why do you not eat? Why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?”


Samuel said, “Then what is the sound of this flock of sheep in my ears? And the sound of the cattle which I am hearing?”
