Therefore their blood shall return upon the head of Joab and upon the head of his seed forever, but upon David and upon his seed and upon his house and upon his throne shall the peace of the Lord rest forever.”


Also I shook out the front of my garment and said, “Like this, may God shake out every man from his house and from his labor who does not carry out this promise. Exactly like this, may he be shaken out and emptied.” And all the congregation said, “Amen,” and praised the Lord. And the people did according to this promise.


has lent at interest, and has taken increase, shall he then live? He shall not live. He has done all these abominations. He shall surely die. His blood shall be upon his own head.


then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.


But if the watchman sees the sword come and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned and a sword comes and takes a person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity. But his blood I will require from the hand of the watchman.


For anyone who curses his father or his mother shall be surely put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother, and his blood guilt shall be upon him.


Whoever will not receive you, nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.


They said, “He will severely destroy those wicked men and rent his vineyard to other vinedressers who will give him the fruits in their seasons.”


“Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing its fruits.


So those servants went out into the streets and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.


Then all the people answered, “His blood be on us and on our children!”


And I say to you that many will come from the east and west and will dine with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.


And many other things they blasphemously spoke against Him.


Whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”


So they shook off the dust of their feet against them and went to Iconium.


I punished them often in every synagogue and compelled them to blaspheme. And being extremely enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.


but declared first to those at Damascus, then at Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God and do works proving their repentance.


“Therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles. They will hear it!”


Is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,


Do not lay hands suddenly on anyone, and do not partake of other men’s sins. Keep yourself pure.


in gentleness instructing those in opposition. Perhaps God will grant them repentance to know the truth,


If you are reproached because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.


They are surprised that you do not join them in the same excess of wild living, and so they speak evil of you.
