Whoever will not receive you, nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.


And whoever will not receive you or hear you, when you depart from there, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them. Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the Day of Judgment than for that city.”


‘Even the dust of your city which clings to us, we wipe off against you. Yet be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near to you.’


Whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”


At Iconium they entered the synagogue of the Jews together and so spoke that a great crowd of both Jews and Greeks believed.


Then some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there and persuaded the crowds. They stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing he was dead.


When they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch,


He was well spoken of by the brothers who were at Lystra and Iconium.


But when they opposed him and blasphemed, he shook out his garments and said to them, “Your blood be upon your heads. I am innocent. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”


persecutions, and afflictions, which came to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra—what persecutions I endured! But the Lord delivered me out of them all.
