As He sat at supper with them, He took the bread, blessed it and broke it, and gave it to them.


You are witnesses of these things.


the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, for it does not see Him, neither does it know Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you, and will be in you.


Yet a little while and the world will see Me no more. But you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.


Then Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will reveal Yourself to us, but not to the world?”


You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that the Father may give you whatever you ask Him in My name.


And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.


Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish.


beginning from the baptism of John until the very day that He was taken up from us, one of these men must become with us a witness of His resurrection.”


Being assembled with them, He commanded them, “Do not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, of which you have heard from Me.


“We are witnesses of all that He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree.


and for many days He appeared to those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now His witnesses to the people.
