On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is to the east of Jerusalem. And from east to west the Mount of Olives will be split in two halves by a very great valley so that one half moves to the north and the other to the south.


When they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, on the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,


Pray that your escape will not be in the winter or on the Sabbath.


As He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”


And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.


When He came near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mountain called the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples,


Each day He was teaching in the temple, and each night He went out and stayed on the mountain called the Mount of Olives.


Then He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.


Then they worshipped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,


Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, less than two miles away.
