Indeed they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.


The city was filled with confusion. And in unison they seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Paul’s traveling companions from Macedonia, and rushed into the theater.


Accompanying him to Asia were Sopater of Berea, and Aristarchus and Secundus of Thessalonica, Gaius of Derbe, and Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus of Asia.


Gaius, who is host to me and to the whole church, greets you. Erastus, who is the city treasurer, and our brother Quartus greet you.


I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius,


I exhort the elders who are among you, as one who is also an elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ as well as a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:


My little children, let us love not in word and speech, but in action and truth.


Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, even as your soul is well.
