Abraham said to God, “Oh, that Ishmael might live before You!”


“Now, Lord God, confirm forever the word that You spoke regarding Your servant and his house and do as You have spoken.


At the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet came near and said, “The Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and that I am Your servant and that I have done all these things at Your word.


Hear me, O  Lord, hear me, so that this people may know that You are the Lord God and that You have turned their hearts back again.”


Not unto us, O  Lord, not unto us, but unto Your name give glory, for the sake of Your mercy, for the sake of Your truth.


May he sit enthroned before God forever; appoint mercy and truth to guard him.


His descendants shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me.


“Pray then in this manner: Our Father, who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name.


Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.”
