23 And who is like Your people, like Israel—a single nation in the land, whom God went to redeem as a people for Himself, making a name for Himself by doing great and awesome things for Your land, before Your people whom You redeemed for Yourself from Egypt, a nation and its gods.

You established Your people Israel as Your own people forever, and You, Lord, became their God.


Who is like Your people Israel, a nation on earth whom God has redeemed for Himself as a people to make for Yourself a great name by great and awesome deeds in driving out nations from before Your people whom You redeemed from Egypt?


“Now these are Your servants and Your people, whom You have redeemed by Your great power and by Your strong hand.


wondrous works in the land of Ham, and marvelous deeds by the Red Sea.


He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever; holy and awesome is His name.


Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness.


He has not dealt so with any nation; and as for His judgments, they have not known them. Praise the Lord!


You have multiplied, O  Lord my God, Your wondrous deeds and Your thoughts toward us; none can compare with You. if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.


For they did not take possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, and Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them.


By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of the farthest seas;


Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies will cringe before You.


For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast, and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment. I am the Lord.


For how will it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we will be distinguished, I and Your people, from all the people who are on the face of the earth?”


And I will take you to Me for a people, and I will be to you a God. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.


For by now I could have stretched out My hand, so that I might strike you and your people with pestilence, and you would be cut off from the earth.


But, indeed, for this cause I have raised you up, in order to show in you My power, so that My name may be declared throughout all the earth.


You have set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day, and in Israel, and among other men, and have made Yourself a name, as it is today.


And You have brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terror.


But I acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be polluted before the nations among whom they were, in whose sight I made Myself known to them in bringing them out of the land of Egypt.


They will put My name upon the Israelites, and I will bless them.


to the praise of the glory of His grace which He graciously bestowed on us in the Beloved.


He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and fearsome things which your eyes have seen.


You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you. Therefore, I command this to you today.


Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the shield of your help, who is the sword of your majesty! Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will tread upon their high places.


I prayed therefore to the Lord, and said, “O Lord God, do not destroy Your people, Your inheritance, which You have redeemed through Your greatness, which You have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.


who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify for Himself a special people, zealous of good works.


The Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land may hear, turn on us, and cut off our name from the earth. What will You do for Your great name?”


But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may declare the goodness of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.


And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
