Then Joab said to the Cushite, “Go, report to the king what you have seen.” The Cushite bowed to Joab, then ran off.


“Whatever happens, I want to run.” So he said to him, “Run.” So Ahimaaz ran by way of the plain and passed the Cushite.


The king said, “Is it well for the young man Absalom?” Ahimaaz said, “I saw a great commotion when Joab sent the servant of the king, your servant, but I do not know what it was.”


Then Pharaoh said to him, “But what have you lacked with me that you want to go to your own country?” And he answered, “Nothing, however let me go anyway.”


And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not proper.


Let there be no filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse joking, which are not fitting. Instead, give thanks.
