For he sees that wise men die; the fool and the stupid perish, and leave their wealth to others.


A brutish man does not know, nor does a fool understand this:


Understand, you brutish among the people! Fools, when will you be wise?


The wicked is banished in his wickedness, but the righteous has a refuge in his death.


For the shepherds have become unthinking and have not sought the Lord. Therefore they have not prospered, and all their flocks are scattered.


But they are altogether unthinking and foolish; the wooden idol is worthless instruction.


But You, O  Lord, know me; You have seen me and tested my heart toward You. Pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.


“For My people are foolish, they have not known Me. They are foolish children, and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.”


Therefore I said, “Surely these are the poor. They are foolish; for they know not the way of the Lord or the judgment of their God.


I will pour out My indignation upon you; I will blow against you in the fire of My wrath, and deliver you into the hand of cruel men, skilled in destruction.


theft, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, an envious eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.


Again, Jesus said to them, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and you will die in your sins. Where I am going, you cannot come.”


For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.


These all are to perish with use and are aligned with the commandments and teachings of men.


by which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that through these things you might become partakers of the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust.


Although they promise them freedom, they themselves are slaves of corruption, for by that which a man is overcome, to this he is enslaved.


But these men slander those things that they do not understand. But they destroy themselves in those things that, like unreasoning animals, they know by instinct.
