You have commanded us to keep Your precepts diligently.


Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the springs of life.


Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.


And those who are far off shall come and help to build the temple of the Lord; and you all shall know that the Lord of Hosts has sent me to you. This shall happen if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God.


And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who would pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’


But we were hoping that it was He who was to redeem Israel. Moreover, today is the third day since these things happened.


Do not work for the food which perishes, but for that food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For God the Father has set His seal on Him.”


Brothers, do not be children in your thinking; rather be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.


Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.


And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all discernment,


Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but so much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.


Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.


For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;


in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.


And without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.


watching diligently so that no one falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness spring up to cause trouble, and many become defiled by it,


We desire that every one of you show the same diligence for the full assurance of hope to the end,


Then they returned to Joshua and said to him, “All the people need not go up. Let about two or three thousand men go up and strike Ai. Since they are so few, all the people need not weary themselves.”


Likewise, you husbands, live considerately with your wives, giving honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they too are also heirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.


Therefore, brothers, diligently make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.


For in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly provided for you.


Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these things, be diligent that you may be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless.


But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory, both now and forever. Amen.
