Then one of them said, “Please come with your servants.” And he said, “I will come.”


Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” Then they said to him, “We will go with you.” They went out and immediately entered the boat. But that night they caught nothing.


And because he was of the same trade, he remained with them and worked, for they were tentmakers by trade.


Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working?


For you remember, brothers, our labor and toil. Laboring night and day so as not to be an expense to any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.


neither did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but we worked tirelessly and toiled night and day that we might not be a burden to any of you.


But godliness with contentment is great gain.
