13 Elisha said to the king of Israel, “What have I to do with you? Go to your father’s prophets, or to your mother’s prophets.” Then the king of Israel said to him, “No. The Lord has called these three kings to deliver them into the hand of Moab.”

Now send word out and gather for me all Israel on Mount Carmel, along with the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah who eat at Jezebel’s table.”


Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, approximately four hundred men, and said to them, “Shall I go against Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I wait?” And they said, “Go up, for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.”


The king of Israel said, “Alas! The Lord has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab!”


Jehoshaphat said, “The word of the Lord is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.


“Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently, but they will not find me,


Where now are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, ‘The king of Babylon will not come against you, nor against this land’?


Come, let us return to the Lord, for He has torn, and He will heal us. He has struck, and He will bind us up.


And behold, they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”


Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.”


So from now on we do not regard anyone according to the flesh. Yes, though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet we do not regard Him as such from now on.


What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what part has he who believes with an unbeliever?


Go and cry out to the gods that you have chosen. Let them save you in your time of distress.”


Naomi said, “Look, your sister-in-law has returned to her people and her gods. Return with her!”
