“Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, things more evil than all that the Amorites did, and has also caused Judah to sin with his idols,


He did evil in the sight of the Lord, according to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord dispossessed before the Israelites.


He did evil in the sight of the Lord, as his father Manasseh had done.


He abandoned the Lord God of his fathers, and he did not walk in the way of the Lord.


The altars that were on the roof of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of the Lord the king tore down and banished from there and threw their dust into the Kidron Valley.
