And Hezekiah answered, “It is an easy thing for the shadow to stretch ten steps, so let it go back ten steps.”


In those days Hezekiah became ill even to the point of death, so he prayed to the Lord. He spoke to the king and gave him a sign.


But the envoys came from the officials of Babylon who were sent to him to inquire about the sign that had been given in the land. God left him alone in order to test Hezekiah, to know what was in his heart.


The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry out to Me? Speak to the Israelites, so that they go forward.


Behold, I will cause the shadow on the sundial, which has gone down with the sun on the sundial of Ahaz, to go back ten steps.” So the sun’s shadow returned ten steps on the sundial by which it had gone down.


Peter put them all outside and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.
