21 He went out to the spring of water and threw the salt into it and said, “Thus says the Lord: I have healed this water. No more death or unfruitfulness will come from it.”

He said, “Bring me a new bowl and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.


So the waters have been healthy until this day, according to the word that Elisha spoke.


But he said, “Then bring flour.” He threw it into the pot and said, “Pour it for the people and let them eat.” And there was nothing bad in the pot.


Then the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, he cut off a stick, and threw it in there, and he made the iron float.


You shall season all your grain offerings with salt. You shall not fail to use the salt of the covenant of your God on your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt.


“Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.


“Salt is good. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.”


When He had said this, He spit on the ground and made clay with the saliva. He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,


‘God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. There shall be no more death.’ Neither shall there be any more sorrow nor crying nor pain, for the former things have passed away.”
