When they returned to him (for he had stayed at Jericho), he said to them, “Did I not say to you, do not go?”


Hazael stared at him until he was ashamed. Then the man of God wept.


I say to you, though he will not rise and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as much as he needs.


For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.


By faith Enoch was taken to heaven so that he would not see death. He was not found, because God took him away. For before he was taken, he had this commendation, that he pleased God.
