Elisha said to him, “Take a bow and arrows.” So he took a bow and arrows.


Then he said, “Open the east window.” So he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot.” So he shot. Then he said, “The arrow of the deliverance of the Lord, and the arrow of deliverance from Aram, for you must strike Aram in Aphek until you have destroyed them.”


He went up and lay on the child, put his face on his face, and his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. Then he bent over the child, and the child’s flesh warmed.


Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;
