2 Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria and became ill. So he sent messengers and said to them, “Go, inquire of Baal-Zebub the god of Ekron whether I will recover from this illness.”

because they have forsaken Me and have worshipped Ashtoreth, the goddess of the Sidonians, and Chemosh, the god of the Moabites, and Molech, the god of the Ammonites and have not walked in My ways and have not done that which is right in My eyes, to keep My statutes and judgments, as his father David had done.

Therefore you will not come down from the bed on which you have gone up, but you will surely die.’ ”
They forsook all the commandments of the Lord their God, made themselves cast images (two calves), made an Asherah pole, worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
