Those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who turn the many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.


Jesus answered them, “Take heed that no one deceives you.


But take heed. I have told you all things beforehand.


“But take heed. For they will hand you over to councils, and in the synagogues you will be beaten. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them.


“He said in like manner to him, ‘You, take authority over five cities.’


He said, “Beware lest you be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.


He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit that leads to eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.


Last of all, He was seen by me also, as by one born at the wrong time.


If anyone’s work which he has built on the foundation endures, he will receive a reward.


Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.


Have you endured so many things for nothing, if indeed it was for nothing?


I am afraid for you, lest I have worked for you in vain.


Nevertheless, according to what we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.


Remember the former days, after you were enlightened, in which you endured a great struggle of afflictions.


Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which will be greatly rewarded.


watching diligently so that no one falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness spring up to cause trouble, and many become defiled by it,


“Look, I am coming quickly. Hold firmly what you have, so that no one may take your crown.
