And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you. If I love you more, am I to be loved less?


For to this end I also wrote, so that I might know that you are proving yourselves by whether you are being obedient in all things.


So though I wrote to you, I did it not because of him who had done the wrong, nor because of him who suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might be evident to you.


For many are walking in such a way that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ. I have told you of them often and tell you again, even weeping.
