God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.


The voice spoke to him a second time: “What God has cleansed, do not call common.”


Abstain from food offered to idols, from sexual immorality, from strangled animals, and from blood. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.


As for the Gentiles who believe, we have written and concluded that they should observe no such thing, except that they abstain from food offered to idols, from sexual immorality, from strangled animals, and from blood.”


I know and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.


Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are clean, but it is evil for the man who causes someone to fall by what he eats.


He who observes the day observes it for the Lord, and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and the one who does not eat, in honor of the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God.

for “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.”


If I partake with thankfulness, why am I slandered concerning that for which I give thanks?


He is the rock; His work is perfect; for all His ways are just. He is a God of faithfulness and without injustice; righteous and upright is He.
