Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the city gates.


In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and almsgiving.


Peter rose up and went with them. When he arrived, they led him into the upper room. All the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the tunics and garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.


For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, so that we should walk in them.


Let a woman learn in silence with all obedience.


In like manner also, that women clothe themselves in modest clothing, with decency and self-control, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing,


who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify for Himself a special people, zealous of good works.


This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you constantly to affirm, so that those who have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to everyone.


Live your lives honorably among the Gentiles, so that though they speak against you as evildoers, they shall see your good works and thereby glorify God in the day of visitation.


Seeing then that all these things are to be destroyed, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,


I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience, and that your last works are more than the first.
