After three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.


Some men came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised in the tradition of Moses, you cannot be saved.”


Claiming to be wise, they became fools.


I want to learn only this from you: Did you receive the Spirit through the works of the law, or by hearing with faith?


Does God give you the Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by hearing with faith?


Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law?


is conceited and knows nothing. He has a morbid disposition for controversy and verbal disputes, from which come envy, strife, blasphemies, evil speculations,


always learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.


My brothers, not many of you should become teachers, knowing that we shall receive the greater judgment.


But these people are like irrational animals, born to be captured and destroyed. They speak evil of the things that they do not understand, and in their corruption they will be destroyed.
