I said in my alarm, “All men are liars.”


Confess your faults to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much.


They rose up in the morning early and worshipped before the Lord. And they returned and came to their house to Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her.


Then Samuel went to Ramah, and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.


It was told Saul, saying, “Behold, David is at Naioth in Ramah.”


Then he also went to Ramah and came to the great well that is in Seku. And he asked and said, “Where are Samuel and David?” And one said, “Behold, they are at Naioth in Ramah.”


He went there to Naioth in Ramah, and the Spirit of God came upon him also. And he went on and he prophesied until he came to Naioth in Ramah.


David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, “What have I done? What is my offense? And what is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?”


The servants of Achish said to him, “Is this not David the king of the land? Did they not sing with dances for him, saying, ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands’?”


Now Samuel died and all Israel mourned him, and they buried him in Ramah, his own city. And Saul had removed the mediums and the necromancers from the land.


But his return was to Ramah, for his house was there and there he judged Israel. And there he built an altar to the Lord.
