Laban said to him, “If I have found favor in your eyes, please stay, for I have learned by divination that the Lord has blessed me on account of you.”


Joseph found favor in his sight and served him. So he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put under his charge.


Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I involve myself in great matters, nor in things too profound for me.


The king appointed them a daily provision of the king’s food and of the wine which he drank. They were to be educated for three years, that at the end of it they might serve before the king.
