Yours, O  Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and the earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O  Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head above all.


The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.


O God, You are awesome in Your sanctuary; the God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!


Therefore I swore in My wrath, “They shall not enter My rest.”


Surely, one shall say, “Only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.” Men shall come to him, and all who are incensed at Him shall be ashamed.


I the Lord have spoken. It shall come to pass and I will act. I will not go back, nor will I spare, nor will I be sorry. According to your ways and according to your deeds, I shall judge you, says the Lord God.


The Lord roars from Zion, and sounds His voice from Jerusalem, and heaven and earth quake. But the Lord is a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the Israelites.


God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He spoken, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?


But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.


The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath you are the everlasting arms; He will drive out the enemy before you, and will say, “Destroy them.”


I can do all things, because of Christ who strengthens me.


If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.


in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before the world began,


So that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.


(Other priests were made without an oath, but this One with an oath by the One who said to Him: “The Lord has sworn and will not relent, ‘You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.’ ” )
