The firstborn bore a son and called his name Moab. He is the father of the Moabites to this day.


The younger also gave birth to a son and called his name Ben-Ammi. He is the father of the Ammonites to this day.


Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

Now a certain man of the servants of Saul was there that day, detained before the Lord. And his name was Doeg, the Edomite, chief of the shepherds of Saul.
