ever since the day in which I appointed judges over My people Israel. I will give you rest from all of your enemies. The Lord declares to you that He will instead bring about a house for you.


They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt,


But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; therefore, He turned Himself to be their enemy, and He fought against them.


Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me for days without number.


You have forgotten the rock who birthed you; you are unmindful, and have forgotten the God who gave you birth.


How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their rock had sold them, and the Lord had given them up?

But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord, but rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then will the hand of the Lord be against you, as it was against your fathers.
