for kings and for all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty,


Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey them, to be ready for every good work,


Joshua blessed them and sent them off, and they went to their tents.


Then Samuel said to the people, “Come, and let us go to Gilgal and renew the kingdom there.”


Now then, obey their voice. Only you will testify against them and proclaim to them the judgment concerning the king who will reign over them.”
