So God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh is come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.


The Lord said, “My Spirit will not always strive with man, for he is flesh; yet his days will be one hundred and twenty years.”


The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was continually only evil.


But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.


On the very same day Noah and the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark.


God remembered Noah and every living thing and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. So God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the water receded.


So Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives went out.


Therefore, the Lord longs to be gracious to you, and therefore, He waits on high to have mercy on you; for the Lord is a God of justice; how blessed are all who long for Him.


because small is the gate and narrow is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.


“Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.


Then those who gladly received his word were baptized, and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.


What if God, willing to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,


that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,


By faith Noah, being divinely warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to save his family, by which he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.


Since your souls have been purified by obedience to the truth through the Spirit unto a genuine brotherly love, love one another deeply with a pure heart,


receiving as the result of your faith the salvation of your souls.


For you were as sheep going astray, but now have been returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.


by whom He also went and preached to the spirits in prison,


So then, let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator, while continuing to do good.


and if He did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;


Keep in mind that the patience of our Lord means salvation, even as our beloved brother Paul has also written to you according to the wisdom given to him.
