He made three hundred shields of beaten gold with three minas of gold in each shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.


All of King Solomon’s drinking cups were made of gold, and all the cups of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were made of pure gold. None were made of silver, for it was not considered valuable in the days of Solomon.


It was covered with cedar over the top of the beams, which sat upon forty-five pillars, fifteen in a row.


When Solomon had finished building the house of the Lord and the king’s house and all else he desired,


and all the storage cities that Solomon had, cities for his chariots and cities for his horsemen and all that which Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all the land of his dominion.


And he made three hundred shields of hammered gold; three hundred pieces of gold were used for each shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.

And He shall remove the protection of Judah. You shall depend in that day on the weapons of the house of the forest;
