Now, be resolved and bless Your servant’s dynastic house, so that it may stand before You forever. You, Lord God, have spoken, and with Your blessing, the house of Your servant will be blessed forever.”


Go to King David and say to him, ‘Did not you, my lord, O king, swear to your handmaid, saying: Assuredly Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne? Why then does Adonijah reign?’


even as I swore to you by the Lord God of Israel, saying, ‘Assuredly Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne in my stead,’ even so will I certainly do this day.”


Then you shall come up after him. And he shall come and sit on my throne, for he will be king in my place as I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.”


Also Solomon sits on the throne of the kingdom.


So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, who went out and attacked him so that he died. And the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.


Now David was old and full of days when he made Solomon his son king over Israel.


Now Solomon the son of David strengthened himself over his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him and made Solomon exceedingly great.


If your sons will keep My covenant and My testimony which I shall teach them, their sons also, forevermore, shall sit upon your throne.”
