But he went a day’s journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under a juniper tree and asked that he might die, saying, “It is enough! Now, O  Lord, take my life, for I am not better than my fathers.”


He looked, and behold, there was a cake baked on coals and a jar of water at his head. And he ate and drank and then lay down again.


The young lions suffer want and hunger, but those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.


The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them.


He said, “Behold, I will make you know what shall be in the final period of the indignation, for the end shall be at the appointed time.


indeed, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening offering.


And the angel who was speaking with me returned and woke me up like a man who is roused from his sleep.


And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, “Rise up, quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands.


Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to minister to those who will inherit salvation?


Let your lives be without love of money, and be content with the things you have. For He has said: “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.”
