The king answered the people roughly and forsook the counsel the old men gave him,


But he rejected the advice that the old men gave him and consulted with the young men who grew up with him and who stood before him,


A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.


If the angry spirit of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your position, for calmness pacifies great offenses.


And the Lord answered the angel speaking to me with good and comforting words.
