The God of Israel said, the rock of Israel spoke to me: He who rules over man justly, who rules in the fear of God,


Then David understood that the Lord had appointed him king over Israel, and that He had exalted his kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.


David reigned over all of Israel, and he administered fair judgments to all of his people.


All Israel heard of the king’s judgment, and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to execute sound judgment.


When Hiram heard the words of Solomon, he rejoiced greatly and said, “Blessed be the Lord this day, who has given David a wise son over this great people.”


For You made Your people Israel for Yourself for a people forever, and You, O  Lord, have become their God.


Then Hiram king of Tyre responded in a letter that he sent to Solomon, “Because the Lord loves His people, He has made you king over them.”


He also brought me forth into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me.


“Trust in the Lord, let Him rescue him; let Him deliver him, since He delights in him.”


May he judge Your people with righteousness and Your poor with justice.


Behold My servant, whom I uphold, My chosen one, in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth justice to the nations.


You shall no more be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land be termed Desolate; but you shall be called My Delight Is In Her, and your land Married; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married.


For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.


Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to order it and to establish it with justice and with righteousness, from now until forever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this.


The Lord has appeared to him from afar, saying: Indeed, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.


I have loved you, says the Lord. But you say, “How have You loved us?” Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? says the Lord. Yet I have loved Jacob;


But it is because the Lord loved you and because He kept the oath which He swore to your fathers. The Lord brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt.
