Now Abraham and Sarah were old and very advanced in age, and Sarah was well past childbearing.


Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.


David built an altar to the Lord there and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. Then the land pleaded with the Lord, and the plague was averted from Israel.


David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.
