The work of righteousness shall be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.


By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”


Therefore Pilate said to Him, “Then are You a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this reason I was born, and for this reason I came into the world, to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”


and being fully persuaded that what God had promised, He was able to perform.


For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities nor powers, neither things present nor things to come,


For these things I suffer, but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed to Him until that Day.


let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse them from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.


These all died in faith not having received the promises, but having seen them from afar were assured of them, embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.


If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.


I have written to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.


We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love his brother remains in death.


For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and knows everything.


Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, then we have confidence before God.
