When a Lorde synneth and commytteth thorow ignoraunce any of these things whiche the lord his God hath forbiden to be done in his commaundementes & hath so offended: when hys synne is shewed vnto him,


The chyldren of Ruben and the children of Gad, had an exceadyng greate multitude of catel. And when they sawe the lande of Iazer and the land of Galaad that it was an apte place for catell,


The land of Ataroth & Dibo and Iazer, and Nemrah & Hesbon & Elealeh and Sabam & Nebo and Beon,


Nowe therfore deuyde thys land to enherete, vnto the nyne trybes, and the halfe trybe of Manasses.


And the children of Israel gaue by lot vnto the Leuites, these cytyes wyth their suburbes as the Lorde commaunded by Moses.


Wherfore abodest thou amonge the shepe foldes, to heare the bleatynges of the flockes. In the deuysions of Ruben, greate were the ymaginacions of herte.
