And Abraham lyfted vp hys eyes & loked aboute: and beholde, there was a ram caught by the hornes in a thykette. And he went & toke the ram and offred hym vp for a sacryfyce in the steade of his soune.


And he sayde: take thy only sonne Isaac whome thou louest, and get the vnto the lande Moria, & sacrifice him there for a sacrifice vpon one of the mountayns whych I wyl shewe the.


And Noe made an aulter vnto the Lord, & toke of all maner of cleane beastes, & all maner of clene foules, & offred sacrifice vpon the aultare.


And Iethro Moses father in lawe offered burnte offerynges and sacrifices vnto God. And Aaron and all the elders of Israell came to eate bread with Moses father in lawe before God.


And the Lorde called Moses & spak to hym oute of the tabernacle of wytnesse saiyng:


And he answered and sayed: must I not kepe that & speake it, whyche the Lorde hath put in my mouthe?


And he sayd vnto Balac: stand here by thy Sacrifyce whyle I go yonder.


And Balac dyd as Balam said. And Balac and Balam offered on euery alter a bullock and a ram.


And Balam answered & sayd vnto Balac: tolde not I the sayinge: all that the Lorde byddeth me, that I muste doo?


And God came vnto Balam, & Balam sayed vnto hym: I haue prepared .vij. alters & haue offered vpon euerye alter, a bullock and a ram.


When Balam sawe that it pleased the Lorde that he shoulde blesse Israell, he wente not as he dyd twise before to fet sothsayinge, but sette hys face towarde the wildernes,


The deuil toke him vp again & ledde him into an exceding hye mountayne, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, & al the glory of them,


But I wold not agre to herken vnto Balam, and therfore he blessed you: And I delyuered you out of hys hande.
