And MirIam a Prophetisse the syster of Aaron toke a tymbrell in her hand, & all the woman came out after her with tymbrels in a daunse.


And his sister stode a farre of, to wete what wold come out of it.


Then sayd his sister vnto Pharaos daughter: shall I go and call vnto the a nurse of the Ebrues women, to nurse the child?


The southsyde is, from Thamar forth to the waters of stryfe vnto Cades, the ryuer, to the mayne sea: and that is the south parte.

And they went and came to Moses and Aaron & vnto all the multitude of the chyldren of Israell, vnto the wyldernesse of Pharan: euen vnto Cades, and broughte them worde and also vnto all the congregation, and shewed them the frute of the lande.


Then we cried vnto the Lorde and he hearde oure voyces, and sent an angell & hath fet vs oute of Egypte. And beholde, we are in Cades a city harde by the borders of thy contry


And the children of Israel remoued from Cades & went vnto mount Hor wyth all the congregation.


And Moses toke of Aarons clothes, and put them vpon Eleazar his sonne, & Aaron dyed there in the topp of the mount.


and Amrams wyfe was called Iochebed a daughter of Leui, whyche was borne hym in Egypte. And she bare vnto Amram, Aaron, Moses, & MyrIam theyr sister.


For ye were disobedient vnto my mouthe in the deserte of Sin in the stryfe of the congregation that ye sanctified me not in the water before their eyes. That is the water of stryfe in Cades in the wildernes of Zin.


And they remoued from Ezeon gaber, and pitched in the wyldernesse of Sin, whyche is Cades.


And so ye abode in Cades a long ceason.


The space in whyche we came from Cades barne vntyll we were come ouer the ryuer Zared was .xxxviij. yeres: vntyll all the generacion of the men of warre were wasted out of the host as the Lord sware vnto them.


For ye trespaced againste me amonge the children of Israel at the waters of strife, at Cades in the wildernesse of Zin, bicause ye sanctified me not among the children of Israel.


But when Israel came out of Egypt, they walked thorow the wyldernesse, euen vnto the red sea & came to Cades,
